What is the typical lead time for an order?
In-stock tiles typically ship within 3 to 5 business days. For custom orders or out-of-stock items, lead times can range from 8 to 14 weeks depending on the specific material and artisanal production schedule.
Do you recommend ordering samples before placing a full order?
Yes, we highly recommend ordering samples. Because our tiles are handcrafted, natural variations in color, texture, and tone are expected. Seeing a sample in your home's lighting ensures the product meets your expectations.
How much overage should I calculate for my project?
We recommend ordering 15% overage to account for cuts, breakage during installation, and future repairs. For complex patterns like herringbone, 20% overage is suggested.
How are shipping costs calculated?
Shipping is calculated based on the total weight of the order and the delivery zip code. Due to the heavy and fragile nature of tile, most orders are shipped via LTL freight on pallets to ensure safe arrival.
Do I need to seal my tile?
Cement and Zellige tiles are porous and must be sealed to protect against staining and moisture. We recommend using a high-quality penetrating sealer before and after grouting for the best results.
What is your return policy?
We accept returns on unopened, full boxes of tile within 30 days of delivery, subject to a 25% restocking fee. Please note that custom orders and sample sales are final and cannot be returned.
